I cant stand it any longer please read a response I made to a person on the
list.
Congratulation on your up coming ABC accredited I know how hard you had
to work to achieve this opportunity.
Having spent all that time, inconvenience, humiliation, aggravation,
adjustment to your life stile, and sacrifice to you and your children, the
satisfaction of achieving ABC Certification is very satisfying and a 100%
uplift to your self a steam. Having experiencing all of this, how would you
feel about the fact that you could have forgone all these hardships and still
achieved ABC Accreditation. Well, you can, I hope this really makes you mad,
because it dose me, like you I made a grate deal of sacrifices to go to
school, take the exam and become an ABC certified Prosthetics and Orthotics.
I became very depressed when I found out you can obtain ABC Credentials
merely by fulfilling a time requirements set by ABC.
My suggestion is to contact the National O&P office to find out how you
can do this for orthotics. If they wont give straight answers contact me by
e-mail and I will give the name and address of the person in Minn. who has
become ABC certified without having spent one day in school studying his
discipline.
