To all those on my email list
I have just received a notice about a new virus that infected my address
book. I have just deleted it from my computer but it may have infected
your email address book and computer. The name of the virusis
jdbgmgr.exe and cannot be detected by Norton's (which I have and is
continually running and I recently updated) or McAfee's anti virus
programs. It sits quietly for 14 days before damaging your system. It is
sent automatically by messenger and by the address book whether or not
you send an email message or not. Here is how to get rid of it:
1) Go to START, click on FIND or SEARCH
2) In FILES/FOLDERS type jdbgmgr.exe
3) Be sure to search drive C
4) Click FIND or SEARCH
5) The virus has a teddy bear logo with the name jdbgmgr.exe --- DO NOT
OPEN IT
6) Right click & DELETE
7) Go to the reclycle bin and delete it also from there
If you find the virus contact all on your address book.

Sorry for the inconvenience.
Steven.
