Dear Friends,
I am pleased to announce that the Orthotic and Prosthetic Assistance Fund (OPAF) has achieved unprecedented growth this year. Did you know that we.
- recently won our first major grant to build more substantial connections to those who use orthoses?
- are reaching more individuals than ever before through our community programs?
- enabled sixteen ABC-certified practitioners to volunteer at the Salt Lake Paralympic games, continuing our tradition of coordinating in-kind support for this important international event?
All in all, our programs and representation of O&P in philanthropic circles are more comprehensive and focused than ever before. With all of our accomplishments, we are looking forward to even more success in 2003.
Please remember OPAF as you plan your year-end charitable giving. Rest assured that contributions of any amount will go far to help us reach greater levels of direct public service in our role as the official philanthropy of the U.S. orthotic and prosthetic community.
Complete information about giving through our Legacy Program and/or annual sponsorship is available through the OPAF web site at: <URL Redacted>
Since OPAF is a nonprofit organization, 501 (c)(3) public charity, all contributions are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by the U.S. law.
Thank you for your continued support as we achieve our primary mission: enable individuals with physical disabilities - especially those served by members of the orthotics and prosthetics community - to enjoy the rewards of personal achievement, physical fitness, and social interaction. And of course, if you would like to discuss the OPAF in greater detail, please feel free to contact me directly at <Email Address Redacted>
Sincerely,
