Hi Everyone,
Here are the (belated) results of the salary survey I posted around a
month ago.
While there were a great number of people who viewed the poll, only a
few participated. I believe this was due to the limitations of where I
posted it (had to sign in, etc.)
The sample size was very small, and I would not assign any significance
to the results, but they are interesting. With the extremely small
sample size, I was not able to break the results down geographically, or
by experience level, but I think you will see the correlations even now.
After going through the data, it is clear (to me), that conducting a
large poll of this sort would be helpful to both the employers, and
employees in determining what a fair wage for an average employee would
be in any given area.
Interesting Point
Of the two CPOs, one(Minnesota) made twice as much as the
other(Texas), and had another 4 years experience to boot. He also had
to work 20% more per square foot of house than did the lower paid CPO in
Texas.
Ok - enough of my rambling :-)
