We have a student in the Median School technician program who is a congenital Left wrist disarticulation and has never had the opportunity to be fit with a prosthesis. As part of our curriculum we fabricate a conventional BE prosthesis and we used him as a model. We have hook type terminal devices that he was able to experiment with but he really wants to try a mechanical hand. Does anyone have a new or used Left adult mechanical hand they would be willing to donate for him to experiment with. Also, does anyone have any of the old metal Hosmer Dorrance hands that work? We have two that we have dismantled but cannot get back to working condition--maybe if we saw one in working order we could successfully troubleshoot ours. Thank you. Judith Oreski, CPO
