I just want to cast a vote that this may nto really be inappropriate.
Walking with prostheses is pretty high enery and using a power scooter to
go long distnaces and prosthese to stand, transfer, and walk short
distances may make perfect sense. I have a lot of folks with myopathies
who combine walking for excercise or limited funciotnal purposes with
powered mobilty. This helps get aorund soem access rpoblems in the
community if they can do this.
