Immediate opening for a prosthetic/orthotic technician to work in a brand new
central fabrication lab. Located in Chattanooga, TN. This candidate should
possess skills that are developed and be proficient in most if not all of the
following areas: high strength lightweight laminations, modern prosthetic
technology including C-leg, flex-foot, springlite, college park , etc.,
finishing technology, plastic molding operations, some metal fabrication,
composite use and fabrication and cad-cam. The right person for this position
will possess a can-do attitude and strive to be a team player. Your
coworkers are a dedicated team that take particular pride in producing not
only clinically appropriate devices, but cosmetically appealing ones as well.
We are developing a paperless computer system that enhances efficiency and
allows for excellent communication. The facility produces devices for a
clinical orthotic, prosthetic and pedorthic facility with three offices and
two satellite locations in local health care facilities. Salary commensurate
