Hello everyone. The patient in Germany is being assisted by the Barr
Foundation and is being evaluated by a prosthetist. Possible provision
from the extensive German health care and social services also is being
checked out. The patient is a bilateral amputee who was born in Tehran,
Iran, and lost his legs in a landmine explosion during the Iran-Iraq war
about 20 years ago. One of the prostheses is very uncomfortable and hard
to use, and the family (himself, wife, and two children) is out of
money. However, he is being helped at this time.
Thanks to all who replied!
