fume/dust collection responses

Last week I asked for input regarding small, quiet and efficient units. Most
responses were from those seeking the same solution as I.
My situation is unique in that I will not be able to vent to the outside. My
Torit dealer recommended Air Quality Control's Fume Fighter. This still
appears to be my best bet, due to the venting issue. It is a 2' cube with a
prefilter, then a HEPA filter and finally a charcoal filter. They tell me it
should handle the relatively small amount of dust being generated (this is a
satellite office, no fabrication--just fittings and adjustments).

Here are the responses. Thanks!
------------------------------------
I have a small practice in a high-rise medical office building. Noise and
odors are an obvious concern. I have a Torit Model 60 cabinet dust
collector, with silencer, resting on anti-vibration mats. This was after
trying and rejecting a bag-type collector from Grizzly due to excessive
noise and vibration. Fumes are exhausted through a ceiling-mounted exhaust
fan, which ties in with the building's exhaust system. My practice is of the
outside fabrication model; I do not use resins or thermoform plastics, but
use a fair amount of glue, and heat (burn!) some plastic-test sockets, AFO's
and the like. I ask the building manager frequently about complaints. So
far, in two years, I have received none. The Torit unit is somewhat pricey,
but I think it is an excellent investment.

ihave a fume filter from atlas that we use for glues that seems to work well.

One or two great choice (Grin)
The only dust collector that a shop should have (in my opinion)
G1163 1 HP Dust collector $149.95
G3376 A 2 Stage cyclone separator $ 29.95
fumes now are a different ball game we just vent our lab with a hood over
lam bench and a 100 cfm fan.
look at these though.
G5955 Heavy-duty hanging air filter $179.95
G9956 Remote controlled heavy-duty double air filter $325.00
located at <URL Redacted>
Have set up first mentioned for dust in 4 C-Fab sites.

That's all!
