Out of nearly 50 responses, 80% were to post my results. I may have
been misleading in my original post and I apologize. I am not seeking a
prosthetic protocol as we are an independent facility not associated
directly with the hospital. And WE are not having any problems. This
committee is to design a hospital protocol (every patient to receive a
shrinker prior to d/c, every patient to receive X# hours of therapy on
second day post-op, each patient to have dressing changed twice daily,
educational protocols, mandatory literature, secondary referrals, out
patient follow-ups, etc.).
Thank you to those who offered advice as to where I may locate other
protocols. Apparently the VA hospitals have something and I am
researching this currently. I will not be posting results because,
unfortunately, I did not receive any.
Namaste.
