I had a patient stop by the office today who happens to be a doctor. He is a transtibial amputee and has been wearing an Otto Bock 1S27 model foot with a #3 heel stiffness size 27 left. He has ultimately broken every one of these feet he ever rec'd in the past 20 years and yes he still wants the same foot now. Here is where the problem is, this foot is no longer made and hasn't been made for at least 3 years I am told. I told him I would search the web to my fellow Prosthetists to check there inventory for this rare foot. I must tell you he not only called Otto Bock but he flew up there to try every foot they make. Please check your inventory and get back to me soon as possible as he is thinking of flying to Germany to search there warehouse just in case they missed one.
