Mr. Parks
I hope you did not intend to apologize on my behalf. If you did it was rather presumptuous. I don't remember you being appointed to represent the O&P practitioners of the US. All the posts I read were clearly labeled so if anyone didn't want to be informed as to the goings on in the US a simple flick of the delete key is all it takes. I also do not remember any vulgar or insulting remarks, just spirited exchange of opinions interspersed with facts.
This forum is to disseminate information, I don't remember it being limited to only an exchange of technical information. Frankly, to me, the infrequent bouts of vigorous discussions are interesting and a welcome change of pace from the everyday shop talk. I never understood why people shy away from vigorous debate. Perhaps if more folks participated the O&P profession wouldn't be in the state its in now. I hope Paul does not limit it to only clinical practice. He has done a great job of allowing the exchange to progress until it becomes repetitive or boring.
