Dear List,
I am pleased to announce a groundbreaking event in the field of Orthotics!
Prosthetics has long been enjoying the benefits of new and exciting
technology and now this technology reaches the practice of Orthotics.
On May 31, 2002 the Midwest Chapter of AAOP is presenting a very special
symposium dedicated to the latest high-tech advances in orthotic joint design
. In one morning the following esteemed practitioners will offer four
presentations on the various new stance control features of the latest in
orthotic knee joints.
John Michael CPO MSed FAAOP FISPO will be presenting on Horton's Stance
Control Knee Joint.
Jonathan Naft CP, and Jim Campbell CO will be discussing Becker Orthopedic's
Electro Magnetic Stance Control Knee Joint.
Michael Leach CPO will present Otto Bock's Free Walk Knee Joint.
Ivan Long CP (E) will be offering a unique patient/practitioner's perspective
involving Hybrid Stance Control Design.
What promises to be a lively and informative Panel Discussion will follow
these four excellent topics.
