ED, OHIO WILLOW WOOD HAS THE FREE FLOW PYLON THAT YOU CAN ADJUST BY PUTTING
DIFFERENT BUMPERS IN IT FOR DIFFERENT WEIGHT PATIENTS. IT GOES
DOWN TO 90LBS. IT GIVES 20 DEGREES ROTATION ALSO. ENDOLITE ALSO
HAS A PYLON BUT IT USES 35MM TUBE AND IS PROBABLY TOO BIG IN CIRCUMFER
ENCE FOR THIS PATIENT. PEL SUPPLY CARRIES BOTH PYLONS. 1-800-321-1264

TT pylon - Endolite (can be a little noisy and once you cut the pylon you
are
stuck)

Total Shock- Century XXII (this has a clamp on distal end to accept 30mm
pylon-good for child's growth; durable but a little heavy)

Good Luck
Don

Ed,

I use the ICON by Flexfoot but mostly on AK's. My AK patients love it and
can't live without it. I like the ICON because it is a spring and has good
return unlike air shocks. For AK's the ICON takes much shock off the hip
and activates the knee with the spring.
I do not see much a need for vertical shock pylons on BK's unless there is a
special activity that requires it. Plantarflexion is more important than
vertical shock especially on bilateral BK's. Look into the Pathfinder foot
for your bilateral BK.

Hi there..one word....WEIGHT....vertical shock pylons are heavy no matter
who makes them and im not sure anyone does make them for a pedi..why not go
with something like the college park truper foot for kids, light weight gives
shock absorbtion at heel strike, and is very adjustable for gait as well as
patient growth. those feet with a good socket and the patient will do very
well..hope that I have helped a bit..Steve Wilson.L.P.,L.O.A.

Try the ALLURION with TOTAL shock pylon system for light weight use and easy

of cosmetic covering
