Any coments?
Mario,
I have had good success with the Littig Strut (USMC) and usually use it for
'hips' and 'hemis' in conjunction with a Total Knee and some type of
articulating foot.

Mario - It sounds like you are talking about the Littig Modular Hip system with the carbon composite strut. There is also the Littig Mod. Hip system with a 30mm tube clamp/alum. pylon. STAY AWAY FROM THE CARBON COMPOSITE STRUT! Replacement parts are scarce and if you make a length error when cutting the strut you have to try and find a new one. If you use the tube clamp/pylon model then any errors are corrected with a common pylon which you probably have in your office. Also with the strut you have to match the strut to the pt.'s weight. If you get that wrong, then the pt. bounces as they walk (I've seen that). But the Littig hip joint is a good joint and more adjustable than the Otto Bock hip. Just use the pylon setup with a carbon fiber round 30mm

For us the best components is the hit artication OTTOBOCK 7
E 7 in association with lthe knee 3R60=1 for female, and the foot 1D25. The
articulation USMC is a good articulation but it is fragile for an hard
utilisation. If the patient has enough money you can try the C LEG or
1C100 computer leg.
