I received about 10 responses to my query. In general comments were
favorable. One prosthetist stated that he had had patients reject the foot
because it was too flexible. others stated that patients found it too stiff.
This latter response seemed to be related primarily to prior experience with
other feet, although one respondent seemed to feel that feet shorter than
about 26-27 cm tended to be too stiff. As usual youse pays youse money and
takes youse chances.
My thanks to everyone who took their time to respond so thoughtfully (not
always a given on the list serve as past messages this week will attest to)
and for the many expressions of good will and best wishes from acquaintances
in the field. My best wishes to them and all the rest on the list.
