One fine day Tony Barr mentioned:
TB> I suggest, while that door remains open to members and non members,
you direct your comments to the AMPUTEE LISTSERVE if you are a
consumer of these services and the OANDP-LISTSERVE if you are a
provider of these services.
Since there is more than one 'amputee' listserv, it might help to clarify:
Tony refers to AMP-L, founded in 1995 first at University of Pittsburgh and
later moved to University of Washington. In order to direct comments to the
list you must first be subscribed. As I have posted here previously, prosthetists
and other medical professionals are always welcome. A few brave souls
subscribe:) We have had an open door policy since day one.
To subscribe:
send mail to: < <Email Address Redacted> >
In the body write: subscribe amp-l <your full name>
You will receive a confirmation cookie to reply. This is to insure the person
using the address is indeed the user subscribing.
Your welcome message will then be sent with posting information. I am happy
to answer any queries.
