Casting Call
Text:
Dear Colleagues,
I have been contacted again regarding casting a movie using actors with real
limb loss and not Hollywood style special effects. I have already called
their office letting them know I will reposting their message to the OANDP
List and others. If you can help some young person get a chance of being in a
movie let them know about this opportunity.
The following is from the Associated Press.....
Bruce Willis will be spending part of next year acting in Hawaii. The state,
meanwhile, will be acting like Africa. Willis will star in Man Of War, a
$70 million movie by Revolution Studios to be shot from March through
mid-June on Oahu, The Honolulu Star-Bulletin reported Friday.
The movie from my last casting call is in the can ready for the next stage.

>>>> Hi- My name is Deedee Ricketts and I'm a Casting Director for Revolution
Studios, we are currently casting for feature film to be shot in Hawaii
starring Bruce Willis and directed by Antione Fuqua (TRAINING DAY). Our
story take place in in West Africa (Hawaii) and Bruce Willis is a Navy Seal
Commando trying to evacuate US personnel while a civil war erupts. At the
same time he helps a small village to safety - within that village there a
(2) principle roles available for young African boys (8yr. - 13yr) who are
amputees (either hand, arm or leg). I'm wondering if you can help me to
locate possible candidates for the role - in addition to the principle parts
there are featured roles available for African (black Americans). If cast,
production will provide transportation to and from Hawaii, provide housing,
per diem and salary. We shoot from March through June......let me know if
you have any advice on where I can go.... Thanks for your time and I look
forward to hearing from you soon. My office #310.264.4126 Thanks! DD>>>>
