Dear oandp-l subscribers,
A new wave of viruses have been running wild again. There are a number
of them that have been circulating as attachments to messages. Some of
the messages have no text in the body at all. As always, be very
careful about opening up any attachments. No attachments are allowed
through oandp-l so the listserver cannot spread these viruses, but it
appears that some of the viruses have been attaching themselves to email
messages from listserv subscribers, and circulating to everyone in their
contacts list (which may include a number of other listserv
subscribers). So, messages from familiar people may be coming to you
with viral attachments. If in doubt, verify with the sender before
opening any attachments. In most cases, as long as you don't open the
attachment and just delete the message, your computer should be safe.
