This code was originally designed for the Boston Overlap Brace. If you recall
it came with a 3 strap front that was sewn in a ladder type of configuration.
The sides of that ladder where dacron sleeves that contained pieces of spring
steel. These where to be contoured then applied to increase intra abdominal
pressure and more effectively reduce lordosis. TVD
