I am trying this for the first time. I hope it works.
These are the responses to the Harmony System.

I have tried the PRS system on 3 patients. I think it is a tremendous
concept. The key word is concept. My experience has been that it doesn't work
well yet. My most active patient has had 4 different Harmony PRS units on his
leg in 4 months. They are working on them and the new ones seem to be working
much better. I have currently installed one of the newest units and it seems
to be working ok at least for the first week. However it is still quite noisy
and the patient does not care for that. However he loves the vacuum as it
makes his prosthesis feel like part of him.

Just started. Have delivered 2 and have 3 more in the works. Heavy, bulky,
and expensive, but..............best suspension I have ever seen in 30 years.

I have some very happy patients. Two problems that I have run into are with
an AK, finding a good sleeve , and a BK who runs 4-6 miles s day, pulling too
much vacuum. I am working on both.

We have fit approximately 10. Our patient experience has been

outstanding. The patients have enjoyed the increased suspension and security the

vacuum offers. For patients who have experienced true suction with a total

surface bearing socket, it takes their suspension to the next level. We

have also enjoyed the fact that the residual limb volume has remained

more consistent. Patients have enjoyed not having to accommodate for volume

reduction by adding socks or spots. We have had to send some units back for

repair. We understand that some bugs will need to be worked out and are

remaining patient with TEC while they address these issues.
