Hi all,

I sent out a call for a volunteer position in the NYC area and wanted to say
that I found not only one, but 2 now. I am going to be going to my next
place in the new year.

I also wanted to talk about the book,Whole Again. I wasn't sure if I would
like it. I didn't really like the writing style, but I loved the content and
the reality of how O&P was viewed less than 30yrs ago. Things have
definitely changed and we still have a lot to change still, but I am more
than glad I found O&P as a career for me. I can't believe how the profession
was considered a mere craft or just plain business rather than an allied
Health field. I learned a lot about the beginnings of how an O&P person made
a living and the education process.

Thank you Tony for sending me the book. I really appreciated it. It was a
refreshing change from all the formal literature I have been reading.

Cheers and a happy holidays to all,
Sand
