The list of some 100 Sponsoring Prosthetists for the Barr Foundation has
been updated to include license designations in the five currently licensed
states. Please review our web site www.oandp.com/barr to determine if your
proper licensee designation is correct.
Florida -LP, LO, LPO
Texas-LP, LO, LPO
Ohio-LP, LO, LPO
Washington-LP ,LO, LPO
Illinois- for now, just LO, LP
Oklahoma- has registration law-no regulation or licensee designation
Puerto Rico-currently in process of legislation.
If you are attending the FAOP Meeting this week in Stuart, Florida stop by
our exhibit and say hi.
The first successful O & P regulation effort and the Barr Foundation's
Amputee Assistance and Funding program, both started in Florida!
