New Director of OPAF
Jeff Reznick has joined the O&P Athletic Fund as its new director. Jeff
comes to the Fund from Emory University, where he received his doctorate in
history, focusing in part on the history of prosthetics and orthotics. After
receiving his degree, Jeff served for two years as assistant director of the
Institute for Comparative and International Studies (ICIS), coordinator of
the ICIS Community Connections Initiative, and research fellow in the
history of medicine, science, and technology at the Rollins School of Public
Health.
Jeff is strongly committed to developing community healthcare programs, to
growing public awareness of the role of O&P in caregiving, and to advancing
general knowledge of disability issues in society. He looks forward to
working with all of you to develop the Fund and its mission to help promote
health and fitness for everyone.
Jeff will be at the upcoming AOPA meeting in Phoenix, to represent the Fund
at its events and at its booth near the main registration area.
