If you are, or know of, a student with disabilities in the New York
City, DC, or Pennsylvania-area whose housing, personal assistance,
transportation, communication, or other needs are not being met as a
result of the 9/11 tragedy, please contact the National Disabled
Students Union (NDSU) so that we may assist the Center for the
Independence of the Disabled in New York (CIDNY) or other regional
independent living center in fulfilling these needs.
What we need:
1) Person's name, school and permanent address, and, if possible, a
telephone number where s/he can be reached. (Please indicate if voice,
TTY, or speech-to-speech, as well as language requirement.) If s/he is
residing at a temporary address, please indicate that, too.
2) Which needs, specifically, are not being met. (For example, `I need
a personal assistant between the hours of 6:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. at my
apartment at 200 Bergen Street. S/he must be able to lift me.')
How to reach us:
By email: <Email Address Redacted> (Please copy <Email Address Redacted>

NDSU a message via email or US Postal Service; or 2) call 312-253-7000 x
