Hi Derek,
I have had some experience with both the Toe Off and the
Aesthetes, which is of similar design but this has an adjustable tibial
plate. Both can be prone to breakage if used on uneven ground due to the
medial/lateral flexibility. As you may be aware the bond between the carbon
fibre footplate to the tibial section can fail.
I have found it to be very effective though and I would not preclude
its use in this case, especially if your patient/client is not walking on
rough ground or kneeling/bending a great deal.
So you have my few comments I hope they are of some use,
