I suggest that everyone should be very cautious about responding to a third
party in matters such as this one. I have in the past been duped into
contacting amputees who did not want my help or attention by persons who
contacted me with the request that I do so. I am especially cautious (
meaning I won't do it!) when the request comes from a free web-based email
account such as hotmail. If you feel compelled to respond I suggest that
you send your reply directly to Mr. Travis and not to the address he posted.
I recognize that this particular request is probably legitimate, but please
understand that the potential for abuse and manipulation exists and I assure
you that it does occur. Use your own best judgement.
