Dear List

My name is Tom Daniëls
working as a physiotherapist/CPO at the
Universal Hospital, Ghent, Belgium

at this time we have an interesting, but difficult case
a women, middle aged, suffering from the auto-immune disease
called sclerodermi (don't mind the writing)
has been amputated below the knee

at this time she is recovering of the amputation but
in a couple of weeks she has to be provided with a prosthesis but
we do have certain questions
as a result of her disease the micro-circulation of the blood is disturb
and can cause problems at the skin wearing a prosthesis

we do have some ideas but we were wondering if there were some people who
had some
earlier experiences with this very kind of delicate patients

please do contact us

sincerely

Tom Daniëls
centre of technical orthopaedics
