Hello colleagues, has there been any discussion on the LISTSERV regarding the
types of plastics that are being used for flexible inner sockets; it seems as
though there are a flurry of new plastics used for this application but its
been difficult to keep up with all the different types and their attributes.
My goal is to learn of a plastic that doesn't have such a tacky feel to it;
a plastic that will let the skin move a little against the inside of the
socket. I think the tacky consistency of some of the plastics we use tends
to predispose the skin to sheer-related breakdown.

I am curious to know what plastics you all are using, their characteristics,
advantages -- disadvantages, etc.. If such a discussion has taken place on
the LISTSERV then will someone kindly forward the responses to me, otherwise
I welcome responses. I will post responses. Thank you in advance.
