Nothing new I know of, but twister cables, perhaps best with the twister
unit in the thigh segment and a free knee joint with single upright to the
shoe or brace, works for some. There is a heavy duty version that lets us
try this approach on some slightly older/larger/heavier kids here at
ACH; Patrick McNally could tell you about it (he's on this list too, I
think.)
