Urgent- Adhesives ban in California

Attention to facilities in the AQMD counties:
(Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside and San Bernardino)

Apparently, our industry was not considered when the ban on chemicals with
Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) was passed one year ago. It takes effect
this Saturday and I have been told by our suppliers that they have to stop
sending us most resins, glues and solvents.

I understand that the AQMD is influenced by the four county governments, so
we need to immediately contact our county supervisors and our city mayors to
at least get a moratorium on this law for our industry. Stress how vital our
services are and what relatively small volumes we use.

Please write or E mail ASAP
