I received a call from a colleague today (who is not on the listserver) who
has had an AK client refused coverage for a new prosthesis because his
orthopedist (after a very cursory examination) advised his MCO that he did
not qualify because he had failed to pass the Mills Test.
After over 30 years as a prosthetist, this is a new one on me. Are any of you
aware of such a test?
