A recent Barr United Amputee Assistance Fund (BUAAF) recipient's daughter has asked that I forward the below on to the O&P listserve.The Barr Foundation would like to thank all 80 plus certified/licensed prosthetists, located in 40 states and 5 foreign countries.
To date we have sponsored over 500 amputees for prosthetic rehabilitaion for our organizations, the Barr Foundation and United Amputee Services Association. Thanks to your support, we are making a difference in people's lifes.

I want to thank Tony Barr and the foundation for the help my dad ,T.S.
Johnson , recieved from them. He had partial leg amputation and medicaid
would not pay for prosthesis , I thank you all for being so kind and
generous, now my dad is doing great, and walking again. I can never thank you
enough, God bless all of you. Tammy Gaskin
