Florida law prohibits...

Just to clear the air, last week I attended the Florida State Board of
Orthotist & Prosthetists Meeting in Tampa and this subject came up. It is
clear the only one allowed under Florida Law to fit Orthotics in a Doctors
office is a duly Licensed Orthotist by the State of Florida,The Doctor
himself,or the Doctors PA only if the PA is Licensed under that Doctors
Practice, or anyone who is exempt from the law. This does not include the
nurses, cast techs,or sales reps! even if the Doctor is in the office and on
the
premise, The he can not extend his exclusion to anyone else unless that
individual is duly licensed under the laws of the state of Florida. If you
know this activity is taking place you are obligated under the laws of
Florida (If you are licensed in Florida) to report this activity to the state
board, your license can be at risk if you don't. If any part of this is
untrue I invite any Florida State Board member to correct me.
