We have been asked by writer/director Lisa Schiller to assist in the casting
of a movie to be filmed this fall in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Four Feet is a
short film about two girls sharing a hospital room.It covers the challenges
of an emotional and physical heeling process, and the possibilities life has
to offer. The film will be entered in the Sundance Film Festival. Ms.
Schiller would like to cast a real amputee in the lead role of the young girl
in the film who is an amputee in place of special effects photography.
 
Lisa Schiller is a young and innovative Filmmaker in the Twin Cities. Her
professional credits include (The Trouble With Sam, Credit),The Minnesota
Film Festival Trailer, and numerous commercials and corporate videos.  She
attended Minneapolis Community and Technical College Film School, while
earning a BS in film at the University of Minnesota. Director of Photography
is Greg Yolen and the producer is Anne Luster (The Cure, The Straight Story,
and Bill’s Gun Shop). The project will be filmed on location in Minneapolis
over a ten-day period along with rehearsals.
 
Those interested in auditioning for the role need to be 12 –16 years of age,
have a good gait with a lower limb prosthesis in good condition, and be
willing to put in the time and effort needed to make this film project a
success.
 
The Twin Cities (Minneapolis/St. Paul) is number four in the nation in film
production.
