Dear O & P'ers,

You guys are barking up the wrong tree here, especially when it comes to the
major Stock & Bill vendors. The OIG clearly states that the payment of rent
is illegal ONLY when it is for space that would normally be provided free of
charge or in excess of standard rental rates. The companies previously
mentioned on this list are well aware of these rules and abide by them.
Some Mom and Pop DME company may not be aware of this, but I can assure you
the DonJoys and EBI's of this world are playing by the rules. In fact, one
of the major hurdles to selling a practice on a Stock & Bill program
frequently is proving to the physicians and administrators that it is, in
fact, legal.
