Dear List,
In reviewing our warranty and feeling a bit peeved over declining
reimbursements, it occurred to us that maybe we ought to let our warranty
reflect the discounts expected ( if not forced ). Here is what I mean. If
my Usual and Customary price is Medicare Allowable + 30, 40, or 50%, etc.
and a Payor Source wants a 15% discount or even a 15% discount off
Medicare Allowable, then why shouldn't my warranty be reduced by the same
%?
Maybe I'm just needing to vent and I'll get over it (again!) in a day or
so. Maybe some of you feel the same way? May we have some discussion of
why or why not?
Thanks-Andy Wolfe, CO
