Hello all,
I'm a LAK since Oct 99. I normally don't post to this list as I'm not an O&P professional. However, I do find reading your posts to be very useful in educating myself.
I suffer from extreme volume changes and was just discussing 'Pump it Up' with my CP last week. My CP hasn't used it for many years because it was so unreliable. I was hoping the product had improved but was told by others on the St John's University list for amputees, that the product reliablity is still not good.
It appeared to me that there were mixed reviews when you posed your question to the list David. I was wondering if any of the other products mentioned are more reliable.
I've been approved to get a new socket, however it seems to me as if there's little point in having it made now. My last socket stopped fitting me after 1 month and it's been taken in and padded so many times..
Thank you
MaryJo
