Thanks to everyone who responded to my request for suggestions on a manufacturer or design ideas for swim prosthesis to use on a bilat BK with severe alignment on one side. I was looking for something easy and inexpensive to fabricate (KI ambulator) for use in water exercises (no real swimming). My concern was something that I could align. The prefab kits sound appealing, but I was unsure how much alignment capability they provided.

The responses basically suggested the following manufacturers for swim prosthesis:
- Fillaeur
- Ortho Remedy (never heard of them personally)
- Flo-tech has a Bb-d that can be used for swimming. Apparently very low cost.
- Otto Bock and the removable foam technique
- Endolite's prefab kit is $198 and they'll custom make it for you from a check socket for about $400.

I also received many technical suggestions for making this myself. Thanks to everyone for their suggestions.

Thanks to all who responded. Sorry I cannot do a cut and paste. My previous server used Microsoft word for editing and I was familiar with those functions. This server stinks and I don't know how to cut and paste with it. Will be changing to my old server soon. Sorry for the paraphrasing instead of posting the actual responses.
