Question re:o&p education

Hello there-
I was wondering if anyone would take the time to respond to this question.
I have applied to and been accepted to 2 different O&P technician programs
-- the one at Century College, and the one at Spokane Falls Community
College. I have done this with the intention of both obtaining a technician's
license and of simultaneously completing the prerequisites I need to apply to
the practitioner programs. (I have a BA degree but only 1/2 the prerequisites
for the practitioner programs, and only ~2 months volunteer experience in the
field.)
Does anyone onlist have an opinion as to which of the 2 schools has the best
program, and would best suit my needs? Does either school have a better
reputation? All I have gleaned so far is that: 1)SFCC supposedly has newer
facilities than Century College, 2) that some students transfer to the
practitioner program at Century College after completing the tech program,
and 3) that some SFCC students transfer to UW Seattle for the practitioner
program. There is very little information out there, so I thought I'd try
sending this e-mail.

Thanks for any input. Feel free to forward this message to anyone else who
you think could provide some perspective.

 Sincerely,

  Sandra Schechner
