Hi all
I took the first OandP CADCAM course in Texas and it was the highest price
course that I have ever taken.
Well my thoughts at the time were that the only way CADCAM would ever
improve our image/reality ratio is to know where the bones are. A long long
time ago in Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami we use to take X-rays A-P,
M-L with the patient weight bearing. It was great at teaching how your
modification fitted the patient. How do we evaluate sockets now? It looks
to me!
The question is how does CADCAM get great results when we still don't have a
socket design that doesn't get A/P pressure on bulbous limb and doesn't
accommodate imbalance volume fluctuations.
That's all for now
