Hello P & Oers!
I have a lady who is a transhumeral amputee (midlength) and who was
asking about a ski hand/ attachment she could use to cross country ski
with. I am aware of the Hosmer model (as seen in the Atlas), but are
there other options? Also, I realize it takes an awful lot of upper body
strength and leverage to propel oneself forward and I am wondering if
she will be able to do so adequately with the prosthesis. Any
suggestions or reports of past experiences would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks so much.
