The University of Michigan Health System - UM Orthotics & Prosthetics Center
is now accepting letters of applications for it's one year residency program
in orthotics or prosthetics. This program is under the direction of the UM
Orthotics and Prosthetics Center, a division of the Department of Physical
Medicine and Rehabilitation.
The program is administered from the UM Orthotics and Prosthetics Center
which is an outpatient clinic and fabrication site.
Orthotic and prosthetic residents will be able to attend to patients in a
variety of settings, inpatient and outpatient, public and private. Being a
tertiary care center and a trauma center, the variety of pathologies and
injuries is exceptional, providing the resident with a scope and depth of
experience that is rare. That experience is built on a foundation consisting
of the academic resources of the University of Michigan and an academically
based and trained clinical staff.
We are now accepting applications for Fall, 2001 residencies in Orthotics
and Prosthetics, scheduled to begin the first week of September. Please visit our
website at:

description of our program and a downloadable application. For more
information, you may also contact:

Deadline for applications will be April 15, 2001.
