Thanks to this wonderful network and caring professionals and manufactures
participation, another amputee has received help whom otherwise would have
none available to him.

Pastor Daniel Villanueva 37 year old a/k from California e-mailed the Barr
Foundation for assistance in November 2000.His plea for prosthetic
assistance was posted to the listserve. A reply soon resulted when Keith
Vinnecour CPO of Beverly Hills Prosthetics Orthotics of Van Nuys, California
rose to the occasion in offering Pastor Villanueva a
Barr United Amputee Assistance Fund (BUAAF) sponsorship.

USMC and Springlite graciously donated components and the rest .....well
read the recipients words below!!
Many stories of this kind have been repeated for amputees in the US and
abroad

Let us all remember, that while we witness and participate, often times with
reservation, emotion and dismay, heated debates of issues thru this media, it
is also a very useful communication tool that can truly help others in need
worldwide.

Thank you Paul,, OANDP-L, Wayne Konuik CP, USMC, Keith, UASA and Springlite
in helping make the connection and making another indivisual whole again..
