Hello everyone,
I have been informed that the family of a recently deceased individual
whom I provided with bilateral trans tibial prostheses was told by the
funeral home that its policy forbids including prostheses with the
deceased for the burial. Needless to say the family and I were shocked by
this policy. Have any of you ever encountered this before? Is this legal?
Do any of you have any suggestions/opinions, etc.?
I know there are other lists/forums for amputees, but I am not a member
of any of them. If any of you would like to post this information to
those lists/forums, please feel free to do so. I imagine it will be of
interest to them.
