Text:
The Barr Foundation has donated a large supply of 4X4 gauze pads, cotton
stump socks , crutch tips, stump shrinkers, stump sleeves, heel spur
pads,etc. and over 75 new and seconds prosthetic sach feet to
Limbs of Light, a project administered through the Falls Brook Centre of New
Brunswick,Canada, a registered non profit in Canada.
Our man in Nicaragua, Miles Meli will be delivering the donated items by
truck to Cenaprorto and providing us with a full report with pictures of the
effort for the O&P media and our Hope Donor Club Members whom participated.

> CENAPRORTO stands for Centro de Protesis y Ortesis. It is located in
> Managua and is directly behind the Rehabilitation Hospital Aldo
> Chavarria. It is the main prosthetics production center in Nicaragua.
> It has over 10 technicians working, some trained abroad, most of them
> trained in country. It has been around for over 20 years.
> It has recently come under the auspices of the International Red Cross,
> and is making prosthetics available to everyone who needs them for free
