I am working on a 290+ lb. long AK amputee. He prefers pneumatic knee unit
over hydraulic. Over the last 6 years he has gone through 5 or 6 frames due
to bushing wear, as well as structural failure. The hydraulic cylinder seems
to hold up fine. My only answer for this gentelman up to this point is to
have two legs, one to wear while the other is being repaired. Can anybody
recommend a particularly durable pneumatic system waranteed to function under
these extremes. Thank you Forest R Sexton CPO
