What L-Code to use? Seminar RESPONSES

My original post:
Is anyone on this list going to attend the L coding seminar in Las Vegas?
I attended it a few years ago and have sent front office personnel to it in
the past. I have our A/R person attending the one in January in Las Vegas and
am hoping he'll win enough to make up for all our write offs.....ha ha
Seriously, I highly recommend the seminar.
I would like to compile a list of L coding question to submit to the L
coding committee. Perhaps they'll address some of them at the seminar or
perhaps to this list in the future. I understand the committee is trying to
develop a comprehensive list of recommended L codes for prefabricated
devices. In fact, whenever I talk to vendors/salespersons for prefab. items,
I ask if they have recommended L-codes that have been approved by the AOPA
L-coding Committee.
A question I have is how to bill for the cuff and collar sling that is
used in conjunction with the Sarmiento type humeral fracture cuff. It is bad
form to bill an unlisted code (as we all know) and a figure of 8 and other
shoulder slings don't have a similar function as the cuff and collar unless a
broad definition of slings is used.
A manufacturer has motivation to get L-codes for their products but some
of the things we do or provide should have their own L-codes. Depending on
the number of responses I receive, I many not be prepared to compile the
feedback, but let me know your pet peeve in regard to needed L-codes. Please
be as brief as possible. I will at least forward to the L-coding Committee as
they do want to know where we're having problems.

RESPONSES: (separated by a blank line)
How should one code a Crow walker?
I would just like to see definitive L-codes on all applicable
components-feet knees, etc, etc
Figure of 8 instep strap
steel shank for custom shoes
A Bledsoe arm Brace is hard to code. It is a single upright, w/ variable
motion, and a strap for a sling.
