Title:

Professional Re-alignment Possibilities

Text:

Might there be merit in considering ways to form alliances with the Physical
Therapy profession rather than having the recurring difficulties with each
state's licensing efforts.
Might it not be possible to recruit future P and O students from the
graduating classes of current accredited PT programs?
Might there not be a chance to have P and O become sub-specialties of PT ?
Might then all future O and P prctitioners also be licensed as PT's thereby
eliminating the need for seperate licensure?
Might this not also give PT's additional career options which they would
benefit from?
Might not all current ABC P and O practitioners get grandfathered into such a
program in some way which would help protect us from ever increasing
encroachment upon our field? There is precedent for such a concept.
Might this not also give us a rich pool of candidates to draw from for our
future P and O practitioners?

I know this has been a mighty post but it may be worth considering.
