Dear list members,
Please be aware that I have implemented a universal change to the list. This
is not a removal from the list, or in any way a limitation of your ability
to post or retrieve messages through oandp-l. You should have received a
message that looks like this:
<Email Address Redacted> has just altered your subscription options for the
OANDP-L list as per the SET OANDP-L SUBJECTHDR command. For more
information about subscription options, send a QUERY OANDP-L command to
<Email Address Redacted>
What does it mean?
What I have done is changed the way new mail that is sent to you through
oandp-l looks when it arrives in your mailbox. The new settings will now
help you differentiate mail from oandp-l from the rest of your mail by
placing [OANDP-L] as the first part of the subject line in all mail from
oandp-l. Thank you Mr. Billock for the suggestion.
This will help you immediately differentiate which mail is oandp-l related
and which is not.
I hope that you find this helpful in managing your mail more effectively. I
will also suggest experimenting with your mail programs settings to
automatically sort mail into different folders when it comes in. For
example, set up a rule in your sorting feature that will automatically send
all oandp-l mail to an oandp-l folder. This will help reduce clutter in
your main inbox, and make heavy traffic days seem less daunting.
If you have any additional questions, please let me know.
